The most significant benefit, however, has been the financial savings. My monthly electricity bills have drastically reduced since the installation. The solar panels generate enough power during the day to offset the cost of the electricity used at night. This has resulted in substantial savings, making the initial investment in the solar system well worth it.
I am currently using less than half of my power consumption as before the installation. Currently, I am using 3 kWh from 8 am to 6 pm and the battery is currently mostly used for loadshedding. As for the full-day it dropped from 35 kWh to about 18 kWh per day.
Moreover, the installation process was smooth and hassle-free, carried out by professionals who were knowledgeable and courteous.
In conclusion, the solar installation has not only been beneficial for the environment but also for my wallet. It’s a win-win situation that I would recommend to anyone looking to save money and who wants to be less stressed by load shedding.
